Shipping Policy

It is our duty to make your shopping experience seamless, pleasant and comfortable, which is why we ensure that every product you order is in good condition and that it reaches you within the specified period and inexpensive manner. For shipping timelines, please refer to the product descriptions page for a particular product. We have tied up with registered courier partners for national and international shipment. Due to the uncertain circumstances, if our shipping partner unable to deliver on time, we will inform you through email or SMS. Currently, there are two types of shipping available by Surface and Air.

SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping and administration charges are different based on the product, size and volume, the packaging used, and the shipping destination. Rates will be visible after providing the shipping address for your order.

DUTIES & TAXES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All of HAND MADE IN ASIA’s (HMIA’s) orders are shipped internationally from our warehouses to your provided shipping address via our shipping agency. Duties & Taxes for international orders are not included in your order and are over and above any shipping and handling charges paid. Due to the nature of international shipping, most countries charge duties on imported items, levied at the time of port entry (different based on the destination country and the products imported). In that case, you have to pay the applicable duties and taxes directly to the shipping agency at the time of your order delivery after you receive an invoice from the shipping agent. Buyer shall check in import restrictions on certain items, as applicable to the destination country, prior to the purchase of products.

PACKAGING

We take great care of the proper packaging of all your goods at our warehouse to avoid damages of any kind before shipping. We ensure the fragile items are packed safely with high-quality packaging materials to secure the package. OUR PRODUCTS ARE WRAPPED AND SEALED WITH A TAMPER AND WEATHERPROOF PACKAGING TO VERIFY THAT YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDER IN A SAFE AND SECURE CONDITION.

TRACKING DETAILS & DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Orders that have been processed and shipped can track using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping agency’s website. Once your order is shipped, we will inform you of your tracking details.

Our courier partners will deliver the shipment during working days Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays and Sundays. Our delivery partners will attempt to deliver the package three times before they return it to us. Please provide a complete & accurate shipping address, including zip code and contact details, to help us deliver your order faster.

NOTE: DELIVERY TIME IS SUBJECT TO FACTORS BEYOND OUR CONTROL, INCLUDING UNEXPECTED TRAVEL DELAYS FROM OUR COURIER PARTNERS AND TRANSPORTERS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS AND STRIKES.

ADDRESS CHANGE

Address change is only possible if the new location is within the same state and/or only if an order has not shipped. Change of address requests will only be accepted firmly within 12 hours of placing the order.
