About Art:
Slow Fashion, heirloom quality Eri Peace silk scarf is made of sustainable natural silk and consequence of hundreds of hours of intensive craftsmanship. Each is one of a kind, ethical and produced in a small batch; truly ahminsa silk, made without destroying the lift inside the cocoon. The silk from this natural fibre is readily biodegradable after serving its full lifecycle, and thus has low environmental but high socio economic impact. We choose to work with natural dyes locally obtained from our surroundings like the leaves, bark, roots, etc. as natural dyes over chemical dyes.

About Artisans:
Each stole is a collaboration of cloth that is a completely handmade artisan product, crafted by multiple generation of rearers, who hail from district ‘Ribhoi’, Meghalaya. Our weavers are all 70 strong women.

Material:
Eri silk (peace silk, made without destroying the lift inside the cocoon, grown in north east India). This strong and durable fabric remain warm in winter, cool in summer.

Colour:
Pink (Natural dyes locally obtained from surroundings like the leaves, bark, roots, etc.)

Dry clean/use mild laundry soap or mild detergent I Handwash in cold water I Line dry in the shade I Steam iron for soft luster I Prone to bleeding on few washes due to excess natural dyes getting washed out .
