About Artisan:
Mr. Sukhnandi Vyam (b 1983), Gond tribal artist’s often paints scenes in the tribal folklore and mythology and humorous illustrations. Soft, light yet electrifying colour and unique pattern design is the hallmark of his work. In 2002, he won the Madhya Pradesh State Government award for an unusually elaborate wood-carved sculpture.
