All our featured products are sourced directly from artisans, designers and social entrepreneurs across Asia. We assure the authenticity of each object we sell.

We do not have a company owned production unit. Our mission has always been to work collaboratively with artisans, designers, thinkers, creators and the local community in ways that creatively celebrate and catalyze exciting innovations within the arts, craft & design spheres.

During the payment process, you will get confirmation that ”your payment has been successfully processed”. You will also be given an order confirmation through an email or SMS.

We accept all major Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking transactions and the option to pay using PayPal and Razorpay are our third-party payment gateways.

All your online payment Debit/Credit information remains confidential. Our trusted payment gateway is compliant with the highest standards in the payment processing industry to assure your personal information is safe.

In case we are charging for any shipment, rates will be visible after providing the shipping address for your order.

For international shipments, import duties and related taxes or charges may be applicable and are different from country to county. You’ve to pay imposed duties of your county directly to the Courier Company or customs upon receipt of goods.

All taxes are a part of the prices you see on the site. The price or MRP (Maximum Retail Price) of our merchandises are inclusive of all taxes. You have to pay what price you see on the website.

We use the shipping method that balances time and cost. Currently, we offer Surface and Air shipping method.

Yes, the featured products on our website will be insured on your behalf for transit.

Currently, we do not have my order status facilities on our website. However, after shipping your order, we will inform you of the tracking details via email or SMS. You can track your placed order using the consignment/tracking number on the shipping agency’s website.

We endeavour to deliver your order in the stipulated time mentioned on the product descriptions page for a particular product as each artisan’s work process is unique. However, the delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and strikes.

We always try to deliver the order at the earliest. However, we would not provide any special requests or expedite delivery as of now.

Yes, we only process one shipping address per order. If you ordered multiple items and wanted to ship to different places, please treat these as separate orders.

As a policy, we do not offer return or exchange for sold items that have been delivered as per the order placed. For more details, please read our Return and Exchange policy carefully.

You can modify your order at any time during the shopping process by editing or changing your shopping cart. Once you confirm payment for the items in your shopping cart, the purchased is considered final and cannot be modified.

The address change is only possible if the new location is within the same state and/or only if an order has not shipped. Please email us at care@hmia.art  with the Request for ‘Change of Address’ within 12 hours of placing your order for us to confirm it. In case we have already processed your order, we will inform you that the address change is not feasible. Change of address is solely at the discretion of HAND MADE IN ASIA.

Once you confirm payment of your order, your order cannot be changed or cancelled.

In case you received a damaged product or the product has a genuine quality issue, we will offer replacement of the same item if we have available stocks at the time. Otherwise, we will provide a refund of the same value. Please read our Return & Exchange policy thoroughly for further assistance.

 

If I place an order now, can you arrange the delivery after a while?

As long as the payment made at the time of placing an order, we can ship your goods later. Only if the request is feasible for us depending on the territory of the order has been placed. Please email us at care@hmia.art  with the Request to Delay the Product Delivery, and do not forget to mention the period, which needs to be within 15-30 days.

When will I receive a refund for my returned products?

All credits will be issued only to the credit/debit card used for making the original purchase. Once we receive your returned product/s, we will accommodate your credit and send you an email confirmation. For further assistance, please refer to our Return and Exchange policy.
